Dr. Murhaf AlMuallem.

From the outset of his professional career, and before establishing the Global Council of Jurists, his work focused on international humanitarian law and the right to a dignified life and access to education, alongside an interest in real estate development law.

He launched his first initiative through his center, the first of its kind in the Middle East. It focused on the planning and regularization of informal settlements and the “Human Development” project, reflecting a vision that connects improvements to the built environment with human development.

His second initiative addressed reconstruction and damage assessment in conflict-affected areas, guided by a humanitarian vision of a world without refugees or displacement camps. The initiative received international endorsement.

He has also contributed to discussions with international envoys on humanitarian issues and worked to deliver assistance to children in support of their access to education.

As part of his commitment to public service, he prepared and provided studies for several projects free of charge, contributing his professional expertise to humanitarian efforts.

Alongside his legal and humanitarian work, he maintains a strong interest in digital developments. His publications address cross-border contracts, digital contracts, digital arbitration, and the relationship between artificial intelligence and law. His work also explores the digitization of legislation and the development of legal frameworks that respond to AI applications and the challenges of digital transformation.
